I’ve just purchased a MiniFreak hardware synth second-hand. Is there any way I can also access the MiniFreak V software synth? I believe it comes with the synth? Do I need to ask the original owner to de-register or transfer their license somehow?

Have you registered the unit to your account yet? You’ll need to do so. [HERE](https:// [https://www.arturia.com/myarturia#products#products )
Also, yes the previous owner should have already unregister both the MF itself as well as The MFV.
Once this is done you should just be able to register The hardware MF to your account.
You’ll also need to download and install the latest version of The Arturia Software Centre (ASC).
If there are any issues with licence transfer, the original owner etc, then it would be a good idea to contact our support team that will help you to fix this situation.
