Screen showing automation of knobs, rendering the screen useless

Hi, hoping somebody can help!

if i have more than one instance of Analog Lab, or any Arturia plugin, and record automation using the knobs, the screen will forever show those automation moves, the knobs twisting and turning. This makes navigating through any existing plugin or new plugin impossible, as the screen keeps reverting back to the knob movement. Im in ableton 12. Latest MCC, latest firmware. Any ideas how to resolve this?!?

Surely this is an Ableton problem? I can’t replicate this bug in Logic. If I hide the automation lanes they stay hidden.

could be! to be clear, i mean the screen on the Keylab itself. No matter what i have selected, wether it be the chord/scale menu, a completely different instance of analog lab etc, the screen keeps showing the automated knob movements.
