Saving Pedal Settings? Audio Pops?

Hi All,

I got my Astrolab yesterday-- is there a way to save the pedal settings? I am happy that I can use the aux pedals 1 and 2 to move back and forth through presets, but when I power the synth down, the settings revert to the default, which is arp on/off and fx on/off. I looked in the manual and I didn’t find anything about saving global settings.

I have also noticed the specifically on some Piano patches, I get audio pops. The pops are audible through both the headphone jack and the audio output (L/Mono). Anybody else experiencing?

Thanks!

Same here, for the audio pops. I’m thinking it’s a polyphony issue…running out of memory. I use the sustain pedal quite often, as I’m not a great player and it smoothes out transitions between chord, but of course uses more notes and that’s when I notice the popping/cracking.

Not with the current firmware, but I believe this has been logged for future firmware updates.

Have you updated your firmware to 1.3.0?
This was an early glitch that shoud have been fixed in 1.3.0.

Piano V presets have a 48-voice polyphony, so that should cover most cases, even with the sustain pedal.
Augmented Piano preset have less polyphony (varies depending on each preset).

As mentioned above, make sure that your AstroLab firmware has been updated to 1.3.0.
