Saving my settings?

Thank you all for helping me figure out how to import samples into P6. I’ve got it exactly how I want it, and I’m ready to import more samples. My question is, how do I save these settings so I can go on to other things and still be able to come back this configuration? I looked in the manual, then I exported a pgtx file. Is that the right way? I can’t test it tho because I’d have to change my settings and I don’t want to lose them. Am I on the right track?

Also, when I’m done with this setting how do I reset P6 back to the way it was so I can start over?

I think I have it. I saved it as a new preset and it is now in the ‘All’ category of the central dropdown. Is there a way to put all my saved presets into a file where I can find them in one place?

Please read the manual section “3.3.1.1. New Preset” to section “3.3.1.6. Export”.
