Saving a split patch creates an odd result

I have created a dual patch that uses the Tokyo Dreams and Modern Marimba, and while I am editing on the AstroLab (which is connected to Analog Lab Pro) I can save this patch to my user bank. I then click the Split button, because I want the pad in the left hand and the marimba in the right hand. So far, so good. But if I then try to save this edited patch to the user bank in Analog Lab Pro (not overwriting the original, but as a new patch), all that gets saved is the pad, and it gets transposed down one full step. My AstroLab OS is version 1.4.4. If I then save either patch to a playlist, they work just like they were saved in my user bank: the first patch saved has both sounds all the way across the keyboard, the second patch has the pad only transposed down a step.

—As a follow up to this: I found a split patch on the AstroLab, then edited the parts & saved this new patch to Analog Lab Pro to my User Bank. This split works correctly and works well , so I’ll role with this kind of editing process.

This is an update. I had issues with installing 1.5 on the Astrolab which led to the instrument failing on me. I got it running, and in the process I reset the instrument to factory specs by going into the Utilities and resetting it there. This resetting seems to have solved a number of issues, like this one. I did buy this instrument second-hand, so in fact I did not know all of what the previous owner might have set. All I had done was reset the velocity response to hard, and turn off the key lights.

I sometime wonder if we had a slight energy brown-out., and that may have led to this issue. We’ve been running the AC constantly this summer. I have power conditioning and spike protection throughout my office, but I don’t have it for my Astrolab. Time to rearrange things in there to make sure it runs on protected power lines! (Me being paranoid.)
