Anyone have any problems with the rotary push encoders on their MiniFreak? Right before a gig last weekend “knob that gets used the most” got slowly stiffer until it completely froze. Thankfully I was doing remote midi patch changes so I was fine.
Later I soaked it with DeOxit and I was fine, but is this coming to haunt me?

It seems you’ve answered your own question there.
Depending on the venue, gigs can be a pretty harsh environment for electronics, things like sweat, various kinds of sticky drinks, smoke machines etc all can and do add to airborne ‘pollutants’ that tend to condense on, and sometimes IN equipment such as synths.
