I get the asteriek at the end of all unedited presets even as I advance through the presets the asteriek pops up. This happens inside Bitwig, but does not happen in stand alone mode outside of the DAW. Any help is appreciated!

This sounds VERY MUCH like you have some kind of Midi date being fed to Pigments somehow.
If you have some kind of Midi monitoring plugin that you can insert before Pigments to view what is being sent to it, that would help you track it down.
You could also try recording a few bars and analyse the resulting midi track to see what’s showing there too.
