Poss [Bug]? Pigments frequently losing settings in REAPER

I’ve been using Pigments 5 VST3 in the latest REAPER (v7.28, v7.29) on Windows and several times now, when I reload a project Pigments fails to load the same sound it was on when saved and just has the Welcome sound.

It doesn’t happen consistently but is frequent enough that I don’t trust it. One project had about 15 instances of Pigments and about 3 or 4 forgot their settings. Another project has just one Pigments and its lost its settings twice now.

I’ve not seen this one before personally, not to say that it’s unique of course though.
I’ve relisted it as a potential bug for you so The Arturia Devs will be more likely to see it.
Also, if you haven’t already, i’d be inclined to post on The Reaper forum too as it might be an issue on that side of things.

Hi, sorry you’re experiencing this issue.

Maybe try with VST2 instead of VST3 to see if the issue persists with that format as well?

I have asked my colleague who uses Pigments in Reaper extensively and never had this problem.

thanks for getting back to me Lily. Its not happened to me again recently, although the track I’m working on only has one instance of Pigments. But if it happens again I will see if I can work out how to reproduce it. I’ve also asked on the REAPER forums in case anyone else on there has the same problem.
