PLUGIN/MIXER MODE with Logic Pro

Hello,

Since some days I realized that when I switch to plugin mode that doesnt open the plugin window, is it since the last firmware or something stop working, I just reinstall the keylab auto scrip but nothing change

plugin mode still opening the plugin window for you?

Hi Ben, a few things to check ;
A few things to check:

  • DAW MIDI configuration → make sure the KeyLab mk3 DAW + MIDI ports are correctly assigned (Control Surface + Input/Output)
  • Plugin focus → in some DAWs, the plugin needs to already be selected / visible for the KeyLab to “grab” it
  • Mode / program → ensure you’re actually in the correct program (Arturia / DAW mode via “Prog” button)
  • MIDI routing conflicts → having too many ports enabled can sometimes break the integration
  • Test in standalone Analog Lab → if it works there but not in plugin, it’s likely DAW-related

Doesnt work for me either. Logic Pro 12.2.

hello, thank you for your reply,
I have no problem with fader and encoders mapping, maybe it’s what your are talking about as there is no plugin/mixer mode in Arturia in standalone,

my problem is that in plugin mode in logic the plugin window is not opening anymore when I click on plugin mode,
I had delete Logic Pro CS and PLISt delete the keylab from everything and reinstall my keylab only, auto script assignation installed well when opening logic, but nothing change, so I get back to my old control surfaces config,

Maybe the double function of the plugin button that switch in logic mode control surface and the function of opening the plugin window in the same time is broke,
as logic change some stuff for double assignation conflict maybe the logic script need an update to work well? I wish we had more feedback from logic 12 users if its just me I let me know…

I add a new assignment in logic for open/close instrument window for Device and also for mixer button like that when you switch it close it,
its not the same workflow but it work but not perfectly as normaly,
you can close and open the plugin windows and staying in the device mode or in the mixer mode, more choice but less convenient…
I wish that we can find a better solution
