I opened support requests at Arturia, but probably they are swamped with Black Friday or new product launch…
Even though my Arturia accounts shows 0/5 or 1/5 allocated activations, ASC insists in saying there are no more activations left. As a result I cannot use Analog Lab Pro and V Collection X due to this. I cannot activate them despite there are activations available.
This happens on different Windows machines and even Linux ASC.
I already tried deleting activations from the website and “deactivate all” in ASC, to no avail.
A month ago or so the website showed much more than 5 activations taken, even multiple activations from same PC. So I guess something went really wrong…
I guess something has corrupted the activation database for my account, but it’s a bit sad that Arturia is not able to follow this case properly and leaving me with the inability to use products that I have purchased…
Just to make another example, Pigments is reporting 3 activations left. I activate it on one machine and then there are 4 activations LEFT.
In addition to @LBH excellent advice.
It might be worth changing your password on your Arturia account to something stronger, too.
I’m not saying your account has been hacked, but it IS a VERY strange thing to happen, and it’s NEVER a bad idea to have a really strong password.
I’ve had one or two occasions where i’ve had to sign in to ASC from someone else’s computer with my own account as i’ve been working on something in their studios and they either don’t have any Arturia software or not the pieces i’ve required.
It’s ALWAYS a good idea to change passwords after doing this too, someone was a little sneaky and logged back in to my account a few years back, i noticed and deactivated them from my Arturia account page and changed my password, as i’d forgotten to do so .
Hello, but even if I got hacked I should be able to reset everything, since I can access ASC and the portal.
Actually, maybe I solved by trying an offline activation.
It seems I managed to activate all products to the PC I used, and the activation count has been reset and seems correct and coherent in ASC compared to the Arturia “My Products” website.
… and let me add, I already tried both deleting all activations from ASC, and from Arturia portal, and reset ASC prefs, and even reinstall prefs, but all 3 machines I’ve tried ASC was locked on “no activations left”. I suspect an activation DB glitch that, maybe thanks to the offline activation procedure, has now been fixed.
