Phantom left level meter on Phono Line input 3 in AFCC

Hello, I have an original AudioFuse and have upgraded to firmware 1.2.3

I am seeing a phantom left level signal of approximately -36 dB on Phono Line input 3 in the Control Center (see screen shot)

Does anyone know why this is happening? It may of appeared since upgrading my firmware. I don’t really hear anything unless I crank-up the input, but I would certainly LOVE to get rid of this phantom meter displaying on that input!

HI @peejaygee and welcome to The Sound Explorers Forum!

Most logical question is, do you have anything plugged into that Phono input?

RCA Phonos are pretty noisy in comparison to balanced XLR/TRS .

HTH!

After your reply, I unhooked the AudioFuse confirming nothing was plugged into the phono inputs 3/4. I then connected the unit to a MacBook from the MacMini (both M1), only to confirm the same problem with nothing connected to the AudioFuse.

HI @peejaygee

Sorry for the late reply, somehow i didn’t get notification.

It sounds like it would be a good idea for you to log in to your account to contact our support team to see if they can help you with this.

If it’s still under warranty it might be worth discussing with the vendor you purchase the unit from too.

I had the same problem. I asked to Arturia and they said “RESET” … and now i ve got the same problem with line 3 AND line 4 !

Hi Castel, thank-you for your message. I am still battling this issue with Line 3 phantom metering. I have gone back to an earlier firmware to see if that solved the problem - no. I have tried a different computer - no. I have plugged in both USB cables - and again no.

Now, I can not update to the latest firmware without an error! So unless you know something I don’t, I will be stuck on an older firmware.

I think this is a hardware problem myself, not a software one!
