Can we please start a petition for Arturia to add an option to STOP the UI from resizing/fitting the UI? It is actually driving me nuts. This is across all their plugins
HI @exm and thanks for the post.
It looks like you did start a petition, judging by the âvoteâ button at the top left of the page.
Itâll be interesting to see the results.
tbh, i donât think many people care⊠It drives me crazy though.
Itâs early days so far, and youâve already got 2 votes according to the counter⊠letâs see eh!
Hey man.
Are you talking about the auto-crop thing, forcing to click on the extend button on the bottom right?
yesâŠwhich can be useful ofcourse. But to me, it is not. Not necessary at all and the amount of extra clicks become (very) annoying. SoâŠi really hope theyâll consider this to become an option. With every survey they put out, i have stated this as feedback, doing that for years nowâŠwithout any succesâŠ
Got it, I share the same opinion, this is something Iâd like to change for a more standard approach. I appreciate your time raising the issue, hopefully this is something we can improve soon.
Take care
Edouard
friendly bump
I strongly support you, @exm
I just bought Pigments last year, and this feature is really frustrating.
much appreciated. Thanks!
@Edouard_Arturia have replied and logged this request. Iâm not sure it will help further bumping.
That said.
I remember when the existing crop feature wasânt there. It was a nightmare. Especially because of all the information thatâs located in the lower toolbar. So the current functionality should stay too.
I donât mind options.
I would like an option so the size change dynamicly, so one doesânt have to manually expand the window.
thatâs why the title is:
Petition for adding an option to stop auto-resizing/fitting UI
and i agree. The current way of refitting should not go away at all. It can be very handy with certain plugins. They should however give the user the option (imho). The bump is for (new) users as well. To see there is a thread for this âissueâ. Donât be alarmed; i will not bump this one every week ofcourse
