When connected to the instrument input(s) of my Metric Halo LIO 8 interface, after about 5 minutes the level drops 12+db and sounds distorted. No other instruments have this affect when plugged into the interface. Doesn’t matter if it’s a TS or TRS cable. If I unplug either end the level briefly comes back but quickly degrades. But if I plug into a DI box and into the XLR input, it will run for hours, no issues. Sweetwater sent a second unit with identical results. Love the ‘Freak and will keep it since there’s a workaround.
