When you have the full version of an Arturia VSTi, I’m wondering what are your reasons on choosing to open it as standalone in DAW or to open it within the AnalogPro enviroment (and open it fully within).
I just cant think of any strategies to either way. Maybe its just more convenient to stay with AL if your browsing presets generally.
From my own perspective, i generally use ALV as an easy way to ‘stack’ or layer sounds and instruments as it’s so quick and easy to do.
If i want a single instrument, then i’ll use just the plugin for that particular instrument as it saves either scrolling through presets, and there are A LOT in ALV, for others and it’s quicker to utilise specific controllers for that particular instrument.
YMMV of corse though.
HTH!
