The instruments designation for the Ambient Explorations sound bank shows 150 presets for Pigments and 0 for AstroLab. I guess this means none of the presets are AstroLab compatible?
I haven’t seen this in any other sound bank, though other users have noted in previous threads that they’ve found incompatible patches when transferring some sound banks into AstroLab.
Not sure why it is displayed like that, but that Pigments bank works fine in AstroLab (as long as it’s controlled from Analog Lab, obviously, since Pigments cannot directly transfer presets to AstroLab).
Thanks for reaching out regarding this.
As Sean_W mentioned, this expansion is fully AstroLab compatible, so don’t worry.
It seems to be an error and I’ve shared this with the Arturia team to look into.
Yes, all this means is that there are 0 presets that are in Analog Lab + AstroLab format. Meaning they don’t use the Analog Lab Studio panel with FX A and B etc. They are just Pigments presets, which also load in AstroLab.
We will work on displaying this in a less confusing way. Thanks for the heads up!
