I have recently been trying to map key switches to the drum pads on my KeyLab 88 mkii controller. I am using note key switches (Kontakt and Spitfire Audio).
I have used the MIDI Control Center to program my drum pads to C-1, C#-1, etc.
When I try to use the key switch corresponding to that note, it will only trigger key switches from C0; therefore, I cannot hit any of the note key switches below C0. I have been using Cubase, and I use it specifically with Kontakt Spitfire Audio sample libraries as well as native Spitfire Audio sample libraries.

I suggest you try and program the controller pads an octave lower. So from C-2 and up.
