Apologies in advance if I’m missing something obvious (I sense that I am).
I’m running Pigments v6 as a VSTi in Cubase 13. The trailers and doc for v6 promote a “Multimode V2” filter type, but I’m not seeing it. Is there literally a Multimode filter, or is it an expression of filter behaviors?
I’ve (hopefully) attached a jpeg of the filter drop down.
Thanks Talahamut and Joseph. My confusion arose when watching a tutorial video that showed “Multimode” as the default selected filter when “New Preset” was selected, and finding the description of that behavior in the v6 documentation.
Perhaps the video and doc were referring to a previous Pigments version.
It says directly in the release notes for Pigments 6, that the new revision of the Multimode Filter is renamed to Classic.
The new Lo-Fi and Cluster filters are mentioned separately in the release notes.
Thanks LBH. I see that now in Section 1.3.2 of the v6 manual. I missed it as I was searching for multimode, rather than “Multi-Mode”, described therein.
Arturia provides great documentation, both in PDF format and via tutorials. I’m so appreciative of well-written manuals.
Best – Todd
