NEWBIE /persia plug in and analog V questions

Hi I own the Astrolab 37. I also own the full v collection and Pigments. All of which shows up in my Analog Lab software app on my mac . However I just purchased the new Persia and it does not. Is there a way for it to show up there?
and also is there a way to map the knobs on the hardware to the software like it doe for all the other plugins in the V colletion and Astrolab presets?
thanks so much and forgive my ignorance. I bought the Astrolab 37 when i was diagnosed with cancer. Wrote a whole album using only it called “Cancer Chronicles” and then had the mastectomy. Bought the V collection when I was on OXY lol and then just bought the Persia Plug in for a great price after my second surgery* reconstruction etc.
thanks again
Maria

Hi @sleepingangelmusic and welcome to The Sound Explorers Forum!
So sorry to hear about your condition, i do hope you’re more than well on the way to a speedy recovery!

As you own a licence for the ALV Pro, there should be an update at some point which will contain some sounds from the new Augmented Persia instrument.
You’ll be glad to hear that, as you own a licence for the Aug Persia instrument, there will be an update at some point, i do not work for Arturia and so am not privvy to release dates etc) which will include that instrument too… just a question of time.

HTH!

Ps, if you want to hear about all things Arturia first, you can keep an eye on their social channels or sign up for The Arturia Newsletter.

Hi Maria

Thanks for sharing your story. I lost my mum to breast cancer and both my sisters have had it and survived it. Twice!!

Is there somewhere I can listen to your music.

I’m holding back on Persia for a few days until the ASC download issue is resolved but it sounds great.

Hope you have a speedy recovery.

While Arturia almost instantly update Analog Lab to reflect the existence of new instruments, they’re consistently slow off the mark to update Astrolab’s firmware with any kind of reasonable synchronicity. Sometimes it can take literally months. So until then, any new instruments cannot be used in AstroLab.

God alone knows why they don’t sync all the releases of an instrument together. No one outside of Arturia knew it was coming, so they could have waited. No disrespect to you at all, but every single time Arturia launch a new instrument, within days there’s an (new-ish) AstroLab owner posting on here asking why can’t they see or use the new instrument(s) in AstroLab.

Arturia people do read and respond on this board, and they will have seen posts like yours repeat time and time again, but it’s very clear that they have absolutely zero influence on how Arturia actually works and operates.

Ah thanks so much. I must have post cancer brain because now that I think about it. This is what happened with pigments 7

I appreciate your kind words regarding my healing. I definitely need it. Been a little rough.
Thanks again

Hello Maria,

Analog Lab will be getting an update (hopefully this week) which will add Persia to it.

I hope your recovery goes well, and I am glad to hear you’ve found inspiration during this time.
