Augmented PERSIA Install Missing *.SFZ Config Files

I purchased my copy of Augmented PERSIA yesterday, so I presume it would include the update patch. I’ve tried download install and ASC reintalled twicce anow, and nothing has corrected the popup error. My screen capture file is being blocked, so I uploaded it to my site, view here.

I’m not missing the actual samples, but the *.SFZ config files are missing for several presets, for example: Sus Harm Close.sfz.

PS: Augmented PERSIA is missing as a selection in the required tag list for posting.

Hi Nyktimeni,

I first installed Persia as a demo (on Windows 11) from an *.exe in a *.zip file.
Then I bought Persia. I encountered no problems. Maybe I was lucky.

Have you tried downloading the file manually from the online Resource section and installing that? That seems to have worked for others.

Yes, I literally said that in the second sentence of my original post.

#UPDATE: Despite every attempt at uninstalling and cleaning preferences to clear this issue up, nothing solves the problem, and Augmented PERSIA is also not visible in Analog Lab, although some fo the presets associated with Augmented PERSIA are visible.

Good luck resolving your issue.

Hi @Nyktimeni ,

As @Funtmaster say, then the standalone installer have worked for others including my self as you can see in this post:

ASC install also should work now according to this post:

If it does’nt work for you, then perhaps you have a local issue.
If it persist i suggest you contact Arturia support through your account.

New Instruments can not be found in Analog Lab before Analog Lab is updated to include it.
This is the latest info about that:

I had downloaded and manually installed it before, but as you suggested, I tried that again and saw that the download was an updated version. Aug. PE3RSIA now works in my DAW and Standalone, but strangely is still no visible from inside Analog Lab Pro V.
Hopefully, future updates will address this.

Glad it work for you now @Nyktimeni . Thanks for letting us know.

No it’s not strange. i gave the reason in my previous post. But yes a future update of Analog Lab will include support for Augmented Persia.

I had the same experience, missing files when installed through ASC but no problem after uninstalling and then using the downloaded dedicated installer. However, I am kind of pissed at the implementation of demo mode limitations, I thought there was a time limit of so many days, but I was extremely annoyed that there was also a half hour time limit on individual instances of the plugin. A dialog pops up and you have to clear it, that would be annoying but OK. HOWEVER, there is no option to go back into Demo mode, and in order to continue in demo mode you have to delete the plugin from your DAW channel and then re-insert it into the track. That is just overkill. It also caused problems with my audio driver when this happened, I would get extreme latency and sometimes weird fluttering in the audio (on everything, not just Augmented Persia). SO, I would have to go through restarting the DAW or make some parameter change that would re-initialize my TASCAM US-1800 audio interface. One time this crashed Ableton Live. I am going to perform similar operations with my authorized Augmented Yangtze to see if it is specific to Persia.
So I have had to do this at least five time in the course of trying to hear all the presets, and its not making me have a great feeling about my purchase.

IS it true that there is supposed to be a 30 minute timeout in demo mode? If so, that sucks. Just stand on the 5 day or 30 day or whatever limitation and GET RID of this annoying timeout “feature” of demo mode!. I would also suggest that you allow saving presets too, because I would have liked to save a few during my experimentations. I WAS very HAPPY that it did keep my favorites marks, even through the process of uninstalling/reinstalling.

And PERSIA is really amazing, in spite of my annoyance I think I will be buying, especially at the special intro price for existing users…

Yes I’m pissed, but remember my vented rage :pouting_cat: comes from my :heart:LOVE :sparkling_heart: and is only aimed at helping ARTURIA improve!

Just as an update: I used ASC to load Augmented Persia and soon found out that those same files are still missing. I downloaded from the website; did not bother to uninstall from ASC, and no ill effects. I now have full access to the presets.

This is a disturbing trend. It makes sense that not every person who purchased Augmented Persia is a member of this forum, and therefore I would expect that Arturia’s support people would be receiving enough “help me” messages that alarm bells should have been ringing for weeks now. After the disaster that is AstroLab Connect, it seems the folks in the coding room have not been keeping up with demand. I love Arturia products, and their support is second to none among the vendors that I work with, so I am hoping problem this is temporary.

It will have to be solved before any V Collection 12 is introduced, or bad things will result.
