(Before I started I want to specify that im a French Canadian, and I don’t have a perfect English, so sorry if it is not 100% understandable.) (My platform is Windows 10)
Hello,
this is the first time that I have written on this forum since purchasing the MiniFuse 1. In fact, I realized that for some time my headphones (DT 770 pro) which are connected directly to the MiniFuse 1 only produce Mono sound. I checked to see if the Mono option in Windows was enabled, but it wasn’t. When I plug my DT 770 pro directly into my computer, the audio spatialization and the sound are indeed in stereo. It’s really annoying not being able to separate sounds coming from the left from those coming from the right. Is there a solution to this? Maybe I’m crazy, but it seems to me that initially I didn’t have this problem and my headphones were outputting stereo sound from the MiniFuse 1. Since yesterday I’ve been trying to find a solution by looking at similar cases online, I also tried reinstalling drivers, changing audio settings in Windows, enabling spatial audio etc. Nothing works there.
I’ve had this problem for several days without realizing it. It was actually two days ago, while I was playing a competitive game, that the stereo wasn’t working. I then went to YouTube videos (and Windows) to test the stereo (left and right) but there was no difference (as if it were mono).
But strangely, just a few minutes after posting the topic, my headphones are now in stereo. Except I don’t know what I did to make it work now and I also don’t know if it will happen again. Do any of you have any idea why this did this to me? What are the likely reasons for this and what can we do to prevent this from happening again?
I have never had this issue with my Minifuse. I will guess it was about the signal sent to Minifuse.
EDIT: Or perhaps a headphone issue. But off coarse i can’t rule a Minifuse issue out. You must see if the issue returns. EDIT END
UPDATE:
I had this issue again today, and I finally figured out what I believe was the problem. Funtmaster mentioned the adapter, so I tried unscrewing and screwing it back on tightly. However, it didn’t work; the sound was still in mono. I ended up trying to unscrew the adapter just a little (not tightening it all the way), and stereo came back! I’m not sure if this is normal, but what I do know is that my stereo is back.
