My beloved Astrolab 61 died on me Mid-Gig

Yesterday night, in the middle of a gig, three months after having replaced the Power Supply with a quality one and one week after successful upgrade of the OS tO 2.00, the keyboard passed out. It started with the Menu button sticking and sinking in, followed by a peculiar flash of the screen, and then up times of 20 minutes resulting in several unexpected shutdowns and then a total refusal to start. All that, after 2 years of TLC and the best conditions. So sad the keyboard dies besides a Kurzweil that still lasts 25 years. And thoughts?

I would contact Arturia Support and send them pictures of the Menu button.
The button “sinking in” sounds like the board with the buttons under the display / data encoder got detached somehow. This could also explain the screen going out, since it is so close to the Menu button, it would have created some kind of short?

Hi @mamushkin and thanks for posting.

As @Sean_W suggests, please DO contact Arturia Support and include any photos or video of the issues.
Also, depending on any consumer legislation in your part of The World, it might be worth contacting the vendor you purchased from too.

HTH!
