I’m using the MiniLab 3 to control the Waves CR8 sampler in Reaper. No problem with assigning the knobs, but there’s a strange behaviour I can’t get rid of when recording in Reaper: everything behaves as it should when adjusting the controls during recording, but as soon as I finish recording, knobs 1-8 slide all the way back to zero for a second or two during playback, which obviously impacts the sound a lot and means I’m not capturing the adjustments accurately. All software is up to date and I can’t find any other instances of the controller behaving this way. Any suggestions gratefully received!

I do not use reaper, CR8 or have a ML of any description, but it sounds very much like you have a ‘reset midi on stop’ command being sent by Reaper.
There should be a setting for this in Reaper.
