Hi,
My Microfreak always turns on preset #13. Even though I save to the #258 (for example) and even in quick save mode, even though I change the bank via the MCC, even though I reload the firmware… It’s really frustrating. Does anyone have this problem?
Thanks in advance, Sound Explorers.
Mika.
I should point out that when I turn on the microfreak, I am always on preset number 13.
Hello, have you tried “save as” on slot 1? if you want to start on slot 1?
That may force the Microfreak to start on that preset then next time you turn it on. You can just load preset 1, then overwrite it to the same slot.

Hi , thank you for your answer, yes but with the quick save, do you think if i rename the preset 1 that good ? (sorry for my bad english i m french)
Hi i try to write in the slot one and my microfreak start again on the slot 13…
Hello,
After some research yesterday, I emptied all presets/samples and wavetables via the MCC, and it turned out that saving to the initial presets worked normally when the Microfreak was turned on, using the last saved preset. This seemed to be due to a corrupted wavetable. After reloading some of my presets (from slots 1 to 15), the rest of the presets were empty. Recording was no longer stuck on slot 13, but on slot 1 when I recorded over an existing preset. However, when I recorded to slot 255, for example, the MF turned on properly. I’m therefore thinking of a corrupted patch.
It would be useful for a future update to equip the Microfreak or the MCC with corrupted element detection.
Best regards
