Metronome time signature?

On a regular metronome, every beat is the same and time signature doesn’t matter. The minifreak’s metronome has a high sound for beat 1, and 3 low sounds for beat 2, 3, and 4. I quite like this, when playing in 4/4 time. But in other time signatures the high beat lands all over the place, and while I thought I could ignore this it’s proving much more difficult than I expected and keeps throwing me off. I’ve scoured the manual and there is only a 3-sentance paragraph about the metronome (plus some menu descriptions with the same info) and basically no mention of time signature.

Is it currently possible to change the metronome’s time signature? If not, perhaps this is a feature request. I’d like to be able to do 3/4 and 5/4 at a minimum, but other more exotic options could also be useful. I could dream up using 3 tones (high, mid, low) to group the beats of something like 9/8 for example (like ^ - - . - - . - - )

HI @gamercoon and welcome to The Sound Explorers Forum!

I am not aware of being able to do so and the manual makes no reference to this being possible either, just metronome volume and using the Tempo/Swing control to change time divisions on the Sequencer and Arpeggiator.

HTH!
