Macro cutoffs keep being set by themselves

Hi I’ve just started learning this synth and using it with my Keylab. It’s kind of weird, but the brightness and cutoff macros keep adding limits to themselves, so e.g. when I dial the knob on my controller all the way down, it’ll only be at say 25% minimum in the UI.

To fix it, I have to go into the MIDI settings and set the min/max values to 0 & 1. That’s fine, I did it once, but they keep setting themselves back to other values while I’m using it.

Can anyone explain why and how to disable that?

TBH I think it affects multiple synths. I’d like to know what’s going on.

Thanks

Hi @homer_s. Welcome to the community.

Macro settings are a part of the sound design and part of each preset. So the settings iare saved with and for each preset.

You can tweak the parameters that the macros are set to control 100%.

Macros are speciel performance parameters. You can add all parameters to a Macro and set ranges and curves for each.

Thanks. Any idea why they’d reset after I change the min/max values? Or are you saying there’s something the preset doing that and that’s normal?

If you want to keep the changes, then you have to save the preset.
The designer of a preset choose to set the ranges for a reason.

EDIT: As said - the settings is for each preset, it’s not a global setting for all presets. EDIT END
