Logic deletes tracks when switching modes on KeyLab 88 mk2

KeyLab 88 mk2 with Logic 11.0.1 on M1 MacMini. When I switch from AnalogLab to DAW to User, Logic deletes tracks. My template is set up for 8 tracks. Whatever track is highlighted at the time, I switch modes using the big buttons under the big knob, Logic deletes the track. When all of the tracks are gone Logic gives me the menu to create a new track. I can stop at any time if I remember to look. I can use CtrlZ to undo. Weird and I don’t like it. I did a cursory search here in the Forum, but got “no results found” several times. Love the keyboard otherwise. Not trading it in for the NI mk3.

Sound to me like switching modes is sending a Delete command, for some reason. Which is unfortunate but why are you needing to change the mode while you are already in Logic?

Because I created somehow the presets to control KompleteKontrol macros. Could not tell you how I did it when I first got the keyboard, but I did and they work as well as my little Native-Instruments M32.
