Live + Analog Lab + Arpeggiator problem

Hi all. I’m trying to figure out how to use the Arpeggiator in a way that it will play only when I press and hold a key. Currently, it automatically plays a key whenever I press the ARP button, which is not ideal when I perform in gigs.

Oddly, sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn’t and I can’t seem to replicate it whenever it does work.

My scenario:

  1. Play in DAW mode (Ableton Live)
  2. Switch to PROG > Analog Lab to begin a bass line in Analog Lab V
  3. Press ARP
  • sometimes it immediately plays a note automatically
  • sometimes it works as I intend it to (Press Arp > press and hold a key, whici is what I’m after)

Is there something I’m doing wrong here? Appreciate the help guys.

Hi @dreddurius,

Why are you in DAW mode to use the Arpeggiator? Do you have the issue, when you are not?
Look like you wan’t to use Analog Lab template.
