I’m noticing the led screen of my Minifreak makes some audible noise in some instances, like when I access the utility menu or turn the matrix knob. Do you guys have this issue with your Minifreak?
A few things to check/try:
If in use, try a different USB cable in case yours is defective.
Is there an A/C unit nearby? I think they can cause interference sometimes but that would more likely be constant.
Try in a different location in you home and maybe a friends house?
I think that if none of the above works then it is a problem with the internal power supply to the LCD which will require a repair. If you are still under warranty I would approach Arturia ASAP.
It’s worth trying @Funtmaster 's suggestions, this is a bit of an odd one as this type of noise, usually capacitor squeal or coil whine, are generally constant… although coil whine can sometimes react to physical shock, taps, being moved around etc.
Often, turning down the brightness on a display can help with this issue, i’m not aware that this is possible on The MF though, only the LEDs… might be worth turning them down to see if it has any effect?
