My KSP is stuck on fixed velocity. When I play the keyboard responds with velocity sensitivity but it records at a fixed value of 100. I have toggled each track settings individually on and off without solving this. Reluctantly, I factory reset and tried the process again but without any success. I am using the latest firmware. I know this is a topic that has come up previously but the proposed solutions don’t seem to work for me. Suggestions would be gratefully received.
HI @JimF
Sorry to hear about this, i know this might sound like a pain, but could you list your system and exactly what you’ve done so far to try and resolve the issue please? It’ll help people determine if you have a faulty unit or not.
If you DO have a faulty unit and it’s still under warranty, you could always speak to the vendor about a possible exchange/repair/refund, depending on local consumer laws in your country.
HTH!
System:
- KSP
- Fantom 08
- Minilogue XD
- Behringer Model D
all running thro Blokas Midhub
Problem- KSP velocity is permanently fixed at 100
Actions
- I always use the KSP in velocity sensitive mode (so not sure how it became fixed)
- fixed velocity for each track was individually toggled on and off (multiple times)
- KSP power cycled
- all tracks are set to off in the KSP screen but are fixed at 100 when recording
- velocity sensitive works for playing but not recording
- factory reset system (firmware was (and is) up to date
UPDATE
I have just tried real time recording and the recordings are velocity sensitive! So have I missed something? Are step recording and quick recording velocity sensitive? Maybe I don’t have a problem!
HI again @JimF
That’s interesting! I’m rather pushed for time myself today, but i’d have a good search through the manual if i were you, as it does sound that this might be the case.
There was this from 2yrs ago. I dont know if the fix still works…
That didn’t work for me
