Knobs and scroll wheel don't do anything in Logic Pro X

Knobs and scroll wheel don’t do anything in Logic. Installed the Logic Pro script. (When I first installed software Logic asked if I wanted the Keylab to control Logic - I said Yes.) Keyboard lights up and plays correct sounds.
Also - when I select any synth in Analog lab V I’m told I need to purchase the full version and am sent to the website software page.
Logic 10.6.3
Firmware 1.0.9
