How can I program KLE MK3’s transport buttons to control the transport controls of an old Yamaha QY700 hardware sequencer? I have a U6MIDI Pro MIDI Router at my disposal.

Which messages can control your Yamaha sequencers transport buttons? I don’t have that information.
I don’t have a Keylab Essential controller. But you can set different messages for the transport buttons in your Arturia Midi Control Center it look like. Perhaps you can do it from the controller as well.
I can find no specifics in the MIDI Implementation Chart. I did find this in the MIDI Data Format in the reference listings.

I believe this is hexadecimal format, which I cannot read or understand.
It look like it’s sysex messages. Hexadecimal yes.
I dont know which message type the Keylab Essential DAWcontrol message is.
I can suggest you ask Arturia support through your account. Can’t tell if they can help though.
