Keylab49 mkii LCD screen info and DAW track control LEDs not working with Logic Pro

MacMini M4 Pro
Sequoia 15.3.2
Logic Pro 11.1.1
KeyLab firmware 1.3.1

My Keylab is basically working with Logic but exhibiting weird behavior. I use it primarily in DAW mode (Logic). I also configured one user preset so I could map the pads to particular MIDI notes, but those pad assignments then stick even when I’m in DAW mode, so I don’t actually have to change to the user preset ever; I just stay in DAW mode.

Here are my issues:

  1. There seems to be a random glitch on the LCD display where if a track is panned to just a hair right of center there’s a spot where it shows it as though it’s panned hard right (weirdly blocking out the “R”). I made a video of this (link below). Is this a known bug?
  1. The display is constantly switching to a random track number (a track that I am not selecting or editing in any way) and showing that track is panned hard right like this, even though I’m not even touching that track in the software or on the keylab.

  2. The status of the LED light on the Solo, Mute, and Record buttons in the Logic Track Controls section of the keylab do not accurately track the selected track in Logic. For example, I’ll use the Select 3 button to select track 3 in Logic, and the lights just do not match the settings on that actual software track. It seems pretty random, and often incorrect. Sometimes Mute light shouldn’t be on but is, another time Solo light should be on but isn’t, etc.

Any help solving these bugs would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Now it’s also doing a weird thing with the pad lights (see video). They start all lit up like they should be, but then they go off one by one as I press them. Then sometimes occasionally come back on. Uggh. I think this controller is just malfunctioning. Bought it new in 2019; has seen very light use sitting in the desk in my studio; never moved. Not impressed.
