Just installed V-collection and analog lab on a dedicated Mac laptop on a 2 TB ssd.
Within analog lab 5 and within V-collection patch changes don’t work (no patches?) but in analog lab 4 everything works?
Gotta do a reboot, maybe a catalina patch was/is interfering while it has installed on the background I think… (Fresh disk, fresh catalina. Then migrated account from old disk).
In what document is the integration between analog lab/v-collection and keylab keyboards explained in depth?
I have a keylab 88mkII connected to a Mac book Pro. And I have a usb switch so it can allso be connected to my Protools Mac Pro HD3 set paired with a control24. So when I have a guest he can have it’s own dedicated laptop. That patches into 2 channels on the control24. If I am jamming myself I can push two usb switches and my keylab mk2 88 connects to the Mac Pro and so does my Korg Taktile 49.
Im not on MAC. But it look like Catalina is OS 10. On the sales site Arturia have MAC OS 11+ as spec requirement. I can’t tell if that can be your issue.
It depend on which instrument versions you have.
I can’t tell if your Analog Lab 4 use older instruments either. But at least Analog Lab V might need a newer OS.
I suggest you contact Arturia support through your account and ask about it.
I allso have a Mac Pro with Snow leopard (because of Pro tools 10HD with a HD3 set and 4 192 converters). I could download instruments for snow leopard. They are on a usb drive. So I can install them if I find the time.
I allso have open core legacy patcher and all versions for Mac. But so far I stayed with the highest version the hardware original is supported with. I allso have a second Mac Pro. I hope to put a hdx or a hd native card in. And then try that Mac Pro 5.1 to up it to sequoia or maybe one operating system earlier. And then try it out. The control24 has another two analog db25 connectors as input (16 channels) that I can use on the board. So I can practice how to slave two mac’s and have a test system integrated into my recording rig. That allso can serve as a backup rig.
