KeyLab MK3: use Slider 9 for Master Volume in Ableton?

By default, when I set the KeyLab in DAW Mode to ‘Mixer’, he sliders control the first 8 track-volumes in Ableton.
The 9th slider is always controlling the currently selected track.
This doesn’t make much sense to me, because if I would use that, the position of the slider of the corresponding track no longer represents the actual volume of that track.

So, I’d rather want to use slider 9 to control the volume of the master track.

Is there any way how I can change the destination of slider 9 permanently to the master track?
I’d like not to do this via ‘Midi learn’, because this is only saved to the current track (not the template), so I would have to reconfigure that every time I open a new set in Ableton.

Hello, hm “permanently” no, but you can save it as your Template in Ableton that way you will always start from this mapping when making a new project, no?

Today I tested again and it even seems not to be possible to map slider 9 to teh master volume. Maybe this is because it is hard-bound to the active instrument.
I guess there must be an option to edit the Arturia script for Ableton, so I will seek some more information about that.

Has anyone else already found a solution?
