Keylab MK3 sometimes stop sending MIDi

Hi.

I have a Keylab MK3 (not Essential) and sometimes it ils losing midi connection in Cubase 14.

Transport functions work but sometimes I can’t play the Keylab because it doesn’t send MIDI.

In this case I have no other way than to quit Cubase and restart it. Disabling and then re-enabling the script is not enough.

This has already happened to me 2 times in the middle of a session. It’s frustrating and I never had this problem with the Keylab Essential. An issue with the firmware or with the Cubase script?

Are you Mac or Windows?..If windows, have you tried enabling WinRT in the midi port set up page

Hi,

This time these are the transport functions (play/stop/rec etc.) that do not send midi.
I’m on Windows 11 and yes I have activated the WinRT drivers and I am wondering if the problem does not come from there.

Is the Keylab MK3 supposed to work with the “WinRT” or “Widows MIDI” drivers?

Have you got both the DAW and Midi outputs ticked in the midi port set up window?

(I have WinRT selected and it’s working fine)

Yes I do.

I lose the midi connection either at the transport functions or the notes level. It’s always the midi send that poses a problem.

I don’t know what else to suggest - I had a similar issue but it was because my DAW Midiport wasn’t active.

Here’s what I see in Cubase 14 pro, Win 11 - if it gives you any pointers

Thanks for your help .

I see the same configuration than yours but I noticed that you have both “Keylab 49 MK3 DAW” and Keylab 49 MK3 MIDI" checked in “all midi inputs”.

Arturia support told me that this could cause conflicts and that it was better to only put “Keylab 49 MK3 MIDI” (just for your information).

Anyway, I went back to the Windows MIDI drivers and for the moment I have not had any disconnection of the midi send.

I had the same issue (and many others). In particular in daw mode, I could use transport in Reaper but not be able to send midi on plugins and also, not able to see any Arturia plugin on the screen.
