KeyLab mk3 - firmware update 1.1.1

Arturia has uploaded the KeyLab mk3 1.1.1 firmware update on its website: KeyLab mk3 Resources
(scroll down for KeyLab mk3 and MIDI Control Center updates downloads)

This version includes several improvements, as well as several fixes. See the Info / Release notes for details.

Please note that before updating your KeyLab mk3, you first need to update MIDI Control Center to its newest version (at least 1.18.1.3).

The firmware update doesn’t address any of the issues in Cubase pro.

The marketing videos on YouTube still show a misleading view of the functionality that is actually available.

Where do I finde the Info / release notes?
I installed the Firmware update but I can’t see any changes to the recent version.

The bug that you can only use one kind of VST (i.e. Analog Lab OR Pigments) in Live with the Arturia mode of the keyboard still exists. Bummer. :unamused:

Hi @StefanS,

You can find INFO where you can download the firmware:
https://www.arturia.com/support/downloads-manuals
Click the INFO - ? for the firmware.

I don’t have the controller, but i guess it’s possible you also have the INFO where you downloaded the firmware.

Hi To All

Well, I have Keylab Essential Mk3 49 and downloaded the latest Midi Control Centre.
When i Choose my Keyboard in list it just say’s Keylab Essential Mk3 not 49 or 61.
I asume that is ok for the moment.
I click the firmware box and press upgrade and it takes me to downloads where the new firmware is downloaded there, but it does not show in downloads even though it is there.

So now i cannot upgrade the firmware. I have tried more tha a few times going back and forward to read up on everything.
I thought that the New Midi Control Centre prompts you for an upgrade to firmware from videos that i have seen.

At the moment it is all no go .
The only thing i can think of is that the upgrade is not fully out there yet or Arturia have a problem. I have the new control centre and midi driver.

Any help appreciated

All the Best
John

HI @JohnS

Can you download the Firmware file manually using a ‘save as’ command and then run it from your machine that way?

HTH!

@JohnS Just to make sure, this thread is about KeyLab mk3, not KeyLab Essential Mk3.
Current firmware for the Essential Mk3 series is 1.1.6 (firmware 1.1.1 for KeyLab mk3 is not compatible with the Essential series).
The forum for KeyLab Essential series is here
And the resources for Essential Mk3 are there
