Keylab mk3 (61) does not detect FL studio

When I start my keyboard in DAW mode and then starts FL studio, the keylab does not detect FL studio: the display keeps showing the same screens, pending for DAW connection.

I configured the MIDI options in FL studio: the keylab is detected there, input MIDI and DAW are set as well as output DAW, all to the keylab.
Playing simple notes works, but controls dont :frowning:

Any successful integration for you ??

Thanks !

Hi @ALeX1 ,

Have you downloaded and followed the integration guide and script from here:
https://www.arturia.com/products/hybrid-synths/keylab-mk3/resources

Yes, and all configured per the FL studio integration manual: this is how I got the default midi working (the notes).
But still, the Keylab does not see FL studio is started  (I tried all startup orders, I removed my USB hub - connectt he KL to the mac directly…)
It seems the MIDI controls (eg knobs…) are detected by FL: the Midi input icon get lit to green with a question mark inside. Notes, which are played correctly, are lit in orange with a tick mark inside.
Seems they don’t understand each others well …

By the way, in case, In run a trial version of FL studio 2024 v24.1.2 ()build 4038) on Mac Intel.

I don’t know about FL Studio trial version. I can’t tell if it does’nt support this feature.

I suggest you contact Arturia support, if your settings in FL Studio is like from 0.52 in this video:

Thank you for hints again !

I figured out the main issue: The midi channel for MIDI was 0… Setting to 1 solved it all ! (should not be selectable if invalid, should it ?)

I must say I also was confused between the 2 type of input/output : one for DAW, one for MID: one using Keylab mk3 (for DAW, ch 236 ) the other for MIDI using Keylab mk3 Arturia on ch 1 in my case.

Newbie here, thank you for your support ! Issue closed.
( just think the integration user man should be a bit more explicit esp for beginners in general)

I have no knowledge about the existence a midi channel 0 in Keylab. I believe it have midi CH 1-16.
If it’s in FL Studio that i don’t use, then i assume midi CH 0 can be either OFF or OMNI/ ALL. If OMNI/ ALL it should just accept all midi CH.
But instruments can for example be set to receive messages on midi Ch 1 by default.

Glad to hear you have it working now. Thanks for reporting that.
