KeyLab mk3 49 - Assigning CC to faders

Hello all,

I can assign CC1, CC11 etc. to faders by using “Midi Control Center” and it stores my assignments to User 1. But I can my assignments only if I turn on keyboard in “User” mode. When open it in “DAW” mode (which I use mostly), I cannot use my CC assignments for faders. How can I use my CC assignments in DAW mode?

The DAW preset is fixed, you can’t change the assignments at the keyboard end.
Id go the other way and recreate a user preset with DAW control and the CC’s you want.
Or you could change the CC assignments in the DAW I guess.

@Davebass5 is correct in his statement there.

If you use Cubase there is a ‘midi transformer’ plugin which can convert one CC to another, i find it rather useful myself for converting expression pedal data to control hi-hat behaviour in BFD3, works REALLY well!
