Keylab essential mk 3 LCD screen not wotking

The LCD screen dos not show any information when im trying to use Aanalog lab V thro Ableton 12 on windows 11. have been trying to find a solution for this problem with no luck. I have tried reinstaling MIDI controlcenter, drivers, anlog lab V. Tried factory reset on the keyboard reinstalld firmware nothing seems to work…

I would belive i hade a faulty unite if it wasent that it works flawlesy when i open Analog Lab V standalone, then their is no issues. and it worked fine when i got it 6 months ago, so im guessing its the MIDI settings in ableton that is not configured in the right way. here is what i have to work with.

And the same on output.

And the knobs and faders works and shows value on the screen.

Hi @Johni. Welcome to the community.

In the following FAQ you can read:
“→ The Control Surface Input and Output should be set on the DAW port. Only the Input for the KeyLab MIDI port should be selected in the MIDI port grid below.”
Have you tried that?

Have you downloaded the guide and script for your DAW here?:

Thank you for your replay.
I have seen and read this before on other places, but i manage to figure it out. The confusing part for me is that it says

  • “Set the right In and out Port (“KeyLab xx mk3 DAW” / “KeyLab xx mk3 DAW”)”
In my case i dont have anything named “KeyLab xx mk3 DAW” as you can see from the picture i provided. What i hade to put the in and out in the “Control Surface” to instead was the MCU/HUI.

So the MIDI settings that is working for me right now is this:
Skärmbild 2024-09-29 093244

check KL Essential 49 mk 3 MIDI “Track” on the Input Ports
check KL Essential 49 mk 3 ALV “Track” on the input ports

And also make sure Analog Lab V is setup correctly : Essential mk3: no preset display on the LCD with Analog Lab V?

And maybe this is logical and understandebal for somone who is experinced with ableton and synths and what not but i find the guides and helps from Arturia is quite laking, they just says how easy it was supose to be “Just plug and play” no in depth guide…
