To any product owners, or Arturia staff:
I’m tempted to upgrade from a KeyLab Essential 49 to a KeyLab Essential 61 mk3 – I love the refinements and would definitely appreciate that fifth octave.
The critical question is width. Beneath my studio desk, the available width for my controller is something like 34.6 inches, and one place on Arturia’s site – the only measurement I could find anywhere – says the KeyLab Essential 61 mk3 is “35 inches” wide. So I must know: is that figure rounded? Is it exact or an estimation?
I’m hoping a generous KeyLab Essential 61 mk3 owner would be willing to take an exact measurement of their device, down to the fraction of an inch (or, certainly, to the millimetre), and settle this. Thanks in advance.
