KeyLab and KeyLAb Essential Midi Control for Ableton Live

Hi I have the Keylab essential and Keylab. I use both controller Midi Keyboards for live on stage use with Ableton Live.
I use the pads to enable and disable sound in one session.

Can i make Midi settings for the Keylab essential an KeyLab to enable an disable with the pad on the one keyboard and a pad on the other keyboard to control Ableton.

How should i say? One function in Ableton Live with two pads.

I’m not sure i understand.

If you have a function in a DAW that respond to a certain midi CC, then it should respond to that midi CC no matter from which controller it’s send. So the pads just need to send the same midi CC. I can’t tell if there will be an issue with button stages.

I don’t use Ableton Live.

Yes that is maybe true but i only use the Midi Learn function in Ableton and i never did Midi CC ode something in the Midi Control Center of Arturia

Normally a parameter can’t have multiple midi CC numbers assigned. When assigning another midi CC number the other will be removed. I assume that’s the case in Ableton Live to.
