Where can I download a nice throaty saxophone sound? There are plenty of brass, clarinet, and flute sounds, but no sax. Thx

I don’t think Arturia has one of those. Neither Augmented Brass nor Augmented Woodwinds has sax as part of the included samples. And it’s next to impossible to make a good realistic sax sound without using samples or physical modeling (which also isn’t part of Arturia’s lineup).

If you own AstroLab (and/or Analog Lab software), you should be able to access existing presets from the Emulator II V instrument. But I don’t think you can create your own new ones (or swap out samples or any other sort of in-depth preset editing) without also owning the Emulator II V software. You can download that and try it in Demo mode through Arturia Software Center, although it probably can’t save presets or export them to AstroLab.

just saying, i have and the V collection (8). There, is there any good? i haven’t manage to install a few of instruments this amazing collection has, and i didn’t search them all!
if a sax exists, i think this, could be transfered to the Astrolab, since V collection 8 is compatible!
