I cannot record notes from an external MIDI keyboard on the Beatstep Pro.

Hello community,
I have the following problem:
I’ve connected a MIDI keyboard (Behringer Swing) to the MIDI In of the Beststep Pro so that I can play all the devices controlled by the Beatstep Pro via MIDI Out. This works even when the Beatstep Pro is in stop mode.

Now I want to record the notes I play with the MIDI keyboard on the Beatstep Pro, but as soon as I start recording (and play) on ​​the Beatstep Pro, no MIDI signal is sent from the keyboard to the devices, means I can no longer control the devices in record mode.

Could this be due to a setting in the MIDI Control Center?

I dont use Beatstep.

Have you checked the manual like section “4.2.1. Recording a Pattern” that set some conditions to be able to record from an external device?

If yes and you do like described, then i suggest you contact Arturia support through your account.
