I have an AstroLab 61, and also own V Collection 11 Pro. I’ve been pleased to find that I can use all those V Collection instruments in Logic Pro as AU Instruments, and I see lots of the same factory patches in AstroLab, Analog Lab and Logic Pro. But not all of them.
In particular, the AstroLab shipped with a bunch of great Artist Tribute patches. I have been able to transfer some of those over to Analog Lab running on my Macbook, such that they appear there even when my AstroLab is disconnected. But I do not see them show up under the corresponding AU Instrument in Logic Pro. I particular, I am trying to use the Prophet-5 V patch “Rule The World Keys” and Emulator II V patch “Rule The World Choir”, even after I go into Logic Pro’s Plug-In Manager and run “Reset & Rescan Selection” or “Full Audio Unit Reset”. One clue is that after moving these patches from AstroLab to Analog Lab, they under up in the User bank, but I don’t see a User bank choice. under the AU Instruments in Logic.
Feels like this should just work, or have a simple fix of moving some files from one place to another. But I can’t figure it out. Anyone know how to do this?
