How to trigger sequencer from a DAW?

Hi,

I’ve searched for this online but couldn’t find an answer. This must be a very basic question…

I’ve just started using Cakewalk so that I can use my Arturia software synths with a KeySpet Pro that I’ve just bought. I’m hoping I can trigger the sequencer of the KSP by hitting start on the DAW. I’ve tried all the midi settings I can find but nothing is working.

Can anyone help me out here?

Hi @Crumbs ,

I don’t have a Keystep PRO. But pershaps section “4.1.5.1. Connecting to a DAW” in the Keystep PRO manual can help you.
It should be somthing similar in differnt hosts i believe.
