I recently received my AudioFuse Studio.
My goal is to send and receive audio between my Macbook Pro and iPad seamlessly with the Audiofuse connected to my MacBook Pro.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
I used the Send and Return outputs on the AudioFuse, but I encountered some echo.
It’s possible that I’m not using the correct cables.
I also tried connecting my Teenage Engineering TX-6 mixer via USB-C to my iPad, with the following setup:
AudioFuse headphone out → TX-6 input
TX-6 output → AudioFuse Phono line inputHowever, this setup brought me close to feedback (larsen), requiring me to keep the mic level on the AudioFuse very low, which led to suboptimal results.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to achieve my setup effectively? Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
If you’re getting echoes or feedback, that suggests there’s an audio routing loop configured in the software. You’ll need to be sure that you aren’t sending the iPad’s output back to its input on the Mac and vice versa.
looking at the AudioFuse I have some questions as to what you are looking to achieve.
Are you looking to just send from the iPad and send/receive audio on the Mac? or are you looking to bi-directions connections between both the iPad and Mac so you could record on the iPad as well as the Mac?
what software are you looking to use on the iPad? are you using something like AUM or Audiobus ?
I’m using a Mac with Ableton Live and would like to integrate my iPad apps (Loopy Pro and Borderlands).
Specifically, I want to route audio from a microphone connected to my AudioFuse Studio interface or from my Mac,
send it to the iPad for processing, and then output the sound to speakers—
or ideally, route it back to my Mac.
I would like to be able to receive and send sound on my iPad to my Mac using the sound interface.
I tried to make an agregate device with my iPad & Mac but I couldn’t receive sound from the AudioFuse on my iPad as the sound interface didn’t appears on the iPad app (loopy Pro)
I could hear sound on the sound interface and send sound to my Mac (Ableton Live).
