How to route Pigments 6 Vocoder in Ableton?

I’m still a beginner with DAW stuff. I have Pigments vocoder playing in Ableton (Live Lite ver.) but I can’t get it to record.

I have an audio track, audio from is set to Ext. In (my headset microphone), Audio To set to 1-Pigments, and below it says Sidechain-Pigments, then my second track is a midi track with Pigments, Audio To going to Main. Both tracks are set to Ch.1. The A/B sends knobs are all off, and the Pigments track is armed to record. Monitor setting on the Pigments track is on Auto, and on the audio track its set to In.

I tried experimenting with diff routing settings, but couldn’t get it to record, but I can hear it fine, without the raw mic audio. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @hbRider. Welcome back.

I don’t use Ableton Live. But in your example to me the audio track you wish to record on need to be armed to record and set to receive audio from the Pigment track and not from ext in.

Hope this helps.
