Not only do I not know if that is possible, but more importantly, I don’t understand why you would want to?
What are you trying to achieve with the SQ80?
Hi @pafra
As @Funtmaster posted, that’s a rather strange request, i can kind of understand if it’s for some kind of more ‘left field’ style of music though.
I’m just wondering if you’re completely sure what a .syx. file is?
Apologies if you DO know and i’m teaching granny how to suck eggs, as we say here in The UK.
This is a ‘System Exclusive’ file which contains data exclusive to a certain Midi device such as a synth, drum machine etc.
Essentially they’re just a list of settings for each parameter of a patch, you can send patches and banks of sounds via SysEx, as many of us used to to back in the old days and some still do if they’re using hardware synths; particularly older ones or some of the more recent reissues.
That’s just a VERY broad explanation of them.
They don’t contain any actual ‘sound’, unless you convert the data with some kind of translation app, which, i’m not sure even exists.
HTH!
