How to affect only one engine with the sequencer

Hi
I try to make a sequence with one engine and a drone sound with the other engine. But I can’t figure out how to route one of the engines around the sequencer, is it possible, and how?

Regards Michael

As far as I am aware, it is not possible. Indeed, I requested this functionality some time ago as a enhancement request.

Hi all.

Welcome to the community @Telling.

It’s possible to use Pigments modulation possibilities instead of the sequencer. It’s not the same i know, but it’s a possibility. I believe there are some factory presets examples using this method.
Otherwise you have to use two instances of Pigments.

That is what I’m doing right now, but it’s a little annoying, because I’m working with modes, many different modes, and some of them need a strong tonika to work. So it would make good sense if both scala and dronesound worked together.

Hi again @Telling ,

You can quantize an engines Course. Mod amounts can also be calculated. Combined that should give excact tuning.

Keep in mind that you only have one VCA and it’s triggered by the Sequencer steps. Ýou don’t have two fully independent synth lines.
