How do I make a longer sequence?

Hi
Is it possible to chain two patterns, and then keep one pattern in view?

For example,

  • I make a baseline ‘call’ pattern of 4 bars,
  • chain it to another to have an 8 bar ‘call and response’ sequence,
  • but keep the ‘response’ 4 bars in view?

So I can work on the ‘response’ 4 bars without keystep pro switching back and forth?

Any other tips on longer sequences also appreciated. I’m aware of the time division function.

As I mainly play in a DAW, I suppose I can automate mute on the daw so it only plays on the second half
